Specialism: Landscape Architecture and Environmental Assessment

Career: I left Sheffield Uni in 1992 to work as a Landscape Architect in North Wales before travelling and working in New Zealand and Australia. I joined TEP in 2000 initially working on landscape design schemes but quickly moving into environmental planning and assessment which is where my interest still lies.  I head up the Environmental Planning Team comprising landscape architects, planners, environmental assessors and GIS consultants and we are fortunate to have a great team of people and a portfolio of really interesting projects.

Enjoy: Doing a bit of everything. Off to improve my windsurfing skills this summer in Spain!

Reading: ‘Matilda’ by Roald Dahl to my daughters who love it and like to read it over and over and over again.

Music:  We have 3 guitars, a bass guitar and lots of other equipment in our house.  The girls are keen to join their Dad in a band and I’m keen to have some peace and quiet now and again!

Best Project:  Hard to choose.  Each new project brings diverse and interesting challenges.

Not a lot of people know but: I’m Welsh.  My un-placeable accent disguises the fact that I was born and bred in North Wales.
