We are celebrating success after intensive audits of our Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems (QHSE).
Our annual Achilles UVDB audit ensures TEP’s continued accreditation to work on major utilities and infrastructure projects. The audit includes 2 elements, a management system evaluation (MSE) and a visit to a working site. The Achilles auditor assessed our quality, environmental, health and safety performance and our approach to Corporate Social Responsibility. We were thrilled that our MSE score was 98% and our site score was 100%.
Soon after, ISOQAR visited for their annual surveillance audit of our ISO accreditations and we again passed with flying colours. This includes our accreditation to ISO 9001 (2015), ISO 14001 (2015) and OHSAS 18001 (2007). TEP will be looking to migrate to the new Health and Safety Standard ISO 45001 during 2019.
TEP also is a Registered Organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA). The CIfA audit involves checks of our quality and archive systems, and training and development processes for our heritage team. As a Registered Organisation it shows TEP meets a benchmark of recognised quality of work to both our clients and peers. The audit went very well and has proved a foundation stone for us to recruit two new members of our heritage team in our Midlands office.
Jennifer Hansen, Principal Quality and Training Manager says “Thank you to all of our staff for their continued support by ensuring that TEP’s procedures and processes are followed. We are looking forward to planning for 2019 and continually improving TEP’s Integrated Management System.”
