Herculaneum Dock, Liverpool
TEP was commissioned by English Partnerships to design and implement a mainly hard landscape scheme at Herculaneum Dock, Columbus Quay in Liverpool. The site incorporates the Chung Ku Chinese Restaurant, strategically sited on a small peninsula, over-looking the River Mersey with clear views across to Birkenhead.
TEP designed the landscape scheme using existing elements of the dockside quay to retain the historic character, combined with a subtle oriental theme to compliment the modern architecture and style of the restaurant.
