TEP was commissioned by Jacobs Babtie as ecological and landscape design consultants for the restoration and redevelopment of the former coking works at The Avenue in Chesterfield.
Ecological surveys, mitigation and habitat creation are ongoing for numerous species including great crested newts, water voles and grass snakes. The work for grass snakes includes monitoring, contractor supervision, client advice, liaison with nature conservation organisations including the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust, capture and exclusion.
