Environmental Planning Consultancy - Landscape and Visual Assessment

Landscape and Visual Assessment

Effects on landscape and on views are often the most contentious environmental effects arising from developments as changes are clearly visible to local people.

TEP has members of staff who are experienced in undertaking landscape and visual impact assessment based on the Guidelines for Landscape and Visual Assessment (Second Edition) published by the Landscape Institute and the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, 2002.

TEP’s services include the preparation of mitigation proposals to avoid or reduce adverse effects. Early involvement in proposals can assist in influencing designs so that adverse effects are limited.

We also prepare material for public consultation, planning applications and for public inquiry where our expert evidence on landscape and views is required.
