TEP was appointed by Redrow Homes to prepare a masterplan and to undertake an Environmental Assessment for a proposed housing and open space development on the former Lane End Brickworks and Quarry in Buckley, North Wales.
TEP co-ordinated the EIA and undertook the detailed assessments in relation to landscape and views and ecology. TEP managed subconsultants undertaking assessments in relation to cultural heritage, traffic, noise, soils and water. The ecology of the site was of particular sensitivity due the works falling partially within the boundary of a Special Area of Conservation (a European Designation) and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. TEP provided expert evidence at Public Inquiry in relation to ecology on this proposed development.
The scheme was granted permission in late 2006.
