TEP carried out Stage A of an SA/SEA of Mid Devon District Council’s emerging Local Development Framework. Stage A is described within the ODPM’s guidance as ‘setting the context and establishing the baseline’.
TEP developed the SA/SEA indicators that will be used to monitor the effects of implementing the plan and established the existing environmental, social and economic baseline situation from which the effects can be measured. The baseline data and information for use as indicators was organised using a GIS database.
The baseline situation was developed into Mid-Devon’s public consultation document by TEP and this document has been made available to view on the Mid Devon website
