A consortium of developers, advised by Hepher Dixon, appointed TEP to undertake a landscape and visual impact assessment of a proposal for a new urban village on the site of former ICI works at Winnington near Northwich. The assessment formed part of the Environmental Statement accompanying a planning application.
The sites involved extended over a wide area and included in part redundant chemical works adjacent the Weaver Navigation and other brownfield land. The proposals are for the establishment of around 1,200 residential units, offices and employment, shops, community facilities, a primary school and open space.
