TEP assisted the Pennine Edge Forest team and its partners in preparing a Business Action Plan (2004-2013). The Plan sets out the thematic priorities and business objectives of the Forest - an urban forest initiative in the Greater Manchester districts of Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside and Stockport.
This was complemented by individual studies undertaken by TEP, including an assessment of opportunities for community woodland establishment, and access improvement in river valleys across the Forest area.
Pennine Edge Forest was officially launched in December 2004, and TEP continues to provide support and expertise in engaging prospective partners and ensuring that the Forest achieves its objectives.
