TEP prepared an issues paper for the Region, focussing on strategic constraints and opportunities in the delivery of Green Infrastructure. The paper reinforced the emerging Green Infrastructure concept across key agencies and sectors throughout the Northwest to effect a significant improvement in the planning and delivery of integrated, multi-functional green spaces.
It is being disseminated to a wide audience in an effort to build a strong regional partnership that can advance policy frameworks and delivery structures. In particular, it is being used as a basis for engaging with the Northwest Regional Assembly in the ongoing development of the Regional Spatial Strategy.
