Environmental Regeneration - Green Infrastructure for City Regions

Green Infrastructure for Liverpool and Manchester City Regions

TEP was appointed by The Countryside Agency and Community Forests Northwest to prepare a Green Infrastructure prospectus for the Liverpool and Manchester City Regions.

The prospectus is a manifesto for change for Green Infrastructure delivery across the City Regions, setting out a clear vision for the future and identifying a range of current issues and barriers to delivery. It also makes clear the principles, benefits, and spatial planning links of the Green Infrastructure approach to the management of the physical environment.

It is being actively promoted by a range of partners and has stimulated the incorporation of GI policy in the emerging Regional Spatial Strategy.
