On the 1st of August 2007 TEP was 10 years old. To celebrate the event the Stewardship Team organised a birthday event loosely based around the Glastonbury experience, camping in a muddy field with entertainment and live music through the afternoon and into the evening. Everyone mucked in, the field was provided by the brother of a member of staff, previously hidden musical talents were unearthed including morris dancing, folk singing, guitar playing, fiddle playing and ceilidh calling and a full programme was brought together and Greenfields was born.
The 14th of July began with grey clouds overhead but brightened throughout the day and as the campers began to arrive the sun began to shine. Members of staff organised games of football and rounders and Sumo matches to keep people entertained and food and drink was provided to keep our strength up for the exertions of the ceilidh dancing.
