Environmental Impact Assessment

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) assesses the effects of a proposed development on the environment. EIA also identifies possible measures to mitigate adverse effects. EIA is required for many types of development or land management. TEP is experienced in managing the EIA process, including techniques such as:

screening and scoping
compiling baseline evidence
organising other specialists
consulting with stakeholders and negotiating with planning authorities
predicting effects of development on the environment
identifying mitigation
producing Environmental Statements
discharging planning conditions
