Audit of Derelict Waterbodies

Thank you for taking part in this important survey. This survey is being undertaken to analyse what waters are owned and leased so that potential derelict waters can be identified. The focus of this study is to understand where waters are not being used.

Once Sport Northern Ireland understand where these derelict waters are, they can be developed for sport, and new clubs can be established where opportunities have been identified.

The survey has two parts:

  1. The survey questions below are to identify what waters you have access to and what waters you have fishing rights for.
  2. The link below the survey takes you to an interactive map in which you can identify the waters you mention in your answers.
