TEP Consultancy - Scotts Copse Community Planting

The first event of TEP’s decathlon took place in late January at Scott’s Copse, which is part of the newly formed Griffin Wood in south St. Helens. Scott’s Copse, which covers two acres, has been planted up by staff from TEP and the Mersey Forest team in recognition of the contribution David Scott made to landscape architecture in the northwest over the past thirty years.  David retired as partner from TEP last year.  TEP staff spent the day on site and planted over 500 trees and shrubs.

Griffin Wood is being created as a community woodland by the Mersey Forest Trust, of which David is currently the chair.

Enclosed photograph shows David (centre) with staff from TEP and the Mersey Forest.
