In developing any project, research and context are key. TEP has a strong reputation for detailed policy review and analysis of economic, social, landscape and habitat data.
We carry out a range of open space audits, using skilled landscape managers to assess quantity, quality, accessibility and functionality of open spaces. We carry out PPG17 audits and other landscape condition surveys for local authorities and individual townships.
We use information from policy review, site audit and stakeholder consultation to draw up action plans and strategies.
TEP’s open space audits and evidence base has been used by clients such as the Forestry Commission, the Land Trust, and local authorities to secure multi-million pound funding for environmental and access improvements.
