TEP wins 2017 Landscape Institute Award

Earlier today TEP scooped a Landscape Institute (LI) Award for its Heathlands project in Buckley, north Wales. We were delighted to receive the Landscape Sciences Award for our project which was a collaboration between Redrow Homes, Natural Resources Wales and North East Wales Wildlife. The Award was presented at a celebration event at The Brewery in London hosted by the LI and guest speaker, Bill Bryson. The Heathlands Project reclaimed a former brickworks and claypit, bringing the land back into positive use with unique solutions for the design and implementation of new homes set within a landscape of interconnected wetlands and waterbodies, delivering habitat creation, sustainable drainage, a nature reserve and many hectares of public open space. You can read more about the scheme on our project page.
