TEP are seeking a Chartered Landscape Architect with experience in Landscape and Visual Assessment to join our environmental planning team. Applicants should be able to demonstrate previous experience within landscape assessment. For a suitably experienced candidate, this also offers an exciting opportunity to take on an Associate role to lead our LVIA service.

We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrable experience in undertaking and co-ordinating landscape assessment of development proposals, landscape character assessments and preparing landscape evidence for local planning authorities to inform future local plans.

Candidates must show a keen interest in all aspects of landscape assessment and have good knowledge of the relevant parts of the town and country planning system.  You should have demonstrable skills in analysis, report-writing, problem-solving, mitigation design, communication and stakeholder consultation.

You will be able to manage teams of consultants (in-house directly employed by TEP and other co-consultants) to produce consistent, high quality, well-written, concise and clearly illustrated reports.  You will have skills in editing and reviewing documents.

The role requires the management of projects to ensure high quality work is delivered within budget.  An important part of the role is managing projects for clients, reporting clearly and developing strong relationships.
