Who We Are

The Environment Partnership (TEP) Limited is an award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy providing environmental services to clients in private, public and voluntary sectors. This privacy statement explains how we use any personal information we collect from you as a result of you using our services, browsing or using this website.  By visiting www.tep.uk.com you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this policy.

Analytical Data

We use “analytical” cookies on our website. In particular, we use Google Analytics, to collect information about how visitors use our site. The cookies collect information anonymously including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors to the site have come from and the pages on the site that they have visited. No attempt is made to find out the identity of those visiting the website.

What other information do we collect about you?

We only have access to collect other information that you voluntarily give to us via email, sign-up forms, verbally or other direct contact. We may ask you for, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal information about you.  Typically that will include:

  • Contact data – address, email address and telephone numbers (usually if you make an enquiry to us)
  • Identity data – full name, title, date of birth and employment details (usually if you apply for a job with us)
  • Financial data – bank account details (where we need to pay or be paid)

How will we use the information about you?

We will only use your personal data to carry out your requests for us to perform work on your behalf. Most commonly, we will use your personal information in the following ways:

  • To perform the contract we have agreed or are about to agree with you
  • To comply with a legal or regulatory obligation
  • Providing you with advice
  • Communicating with you for the duration of the contract
  • To improve our services and your user experience
  • For internal management purposes which include:-
    • Keeping records of enquiries
    • Planning of tasks or meetings
    • Resource management
    • Storage and archiving of files and documents
    • Providing you with information about further work or services that may benefit you, whilst we are carrying out your work
  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interest, and your fundamental rights and interests do not override.

How will we keep your information secure?

TEP is committed to ensuring that your personal information is safe.  We ensure that we have in place procedures and technologies to maintain the security of all personal data.  TEP has appropriate security measures in place to prevent unlawful or unauthorised processing of personal data, and against the accidental or unlawful destruction, damage, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of or access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.

We will not share your personal data with any company outside TEP or to any third parties. 

We will not transfer your personal information outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Access to your information and correction

You have the right to confirmation as to whether we process personal data about you, and to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.  If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please email or write to us at the address below.  We do not envisage the need to charge for this service but if it is felt this is required will let you know the charge in advance with a cost breakdown.

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date.  You may ask us to correct or remove information which is incorrect.  In accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018) you also have the ‘right to be forgotten’.  If this is the case, please email or write to us at the address below.

For how long will we keep your information?

We will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. This includes any purposes to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting requirements.
