The Land Trust owns over 400 parcels of land throughout Warrington; mostly green space in residential areas. The land requires management for the benefit of the local community and wildlife, in accordance with the Land Trust’s charitable aims.
TEP provides Land Trust with landscape management and arboriculture services. This involves procuring and managing landscape maintenance contracts; looking at ways to improve the quality of sites for community and wildlife; producing tree management strategies; and carrying out tree risk surveys and instructing tree works.
TEP liaises with contractors, residents, the local authority, and adjacent landowners, to ensure a coordinated approach to land management.
TEP also provides associated services to Land Trust on its portfolio of ex-coalfield sites, including risk assessments, management plans, costed maintenance schedules, and GIS services.
