At TEP, we’re proud to share the progress we’ve made so far in 2025 as part of our ongoing investment in health, wellbeing and inclusion. Our aim is simple – to foster a healthy, happy, and inclusive workplace where every colleague feels supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.
This year, we introduced a new guidance note to support meaningful health and wellbeing discussions across the organisation. Complete with a bespoke action plan template, this framework helps ensure proactive support and reasonable workplace adjustments are embedded into our day-to-day culture, promoting productivity and positive mental health for all.
We’ve continued to offer free wellbeing checks for all colleagues through our partnership with UNUM, receiving excellent feedback from colleagues who’ve accessed this support. We are also thrilled to have achieved all standards in our recent UNUM health and wellbeing assessment, a proud milestone for our entire team.
In addition to our training academy that ensures outstanding professional development as well as leadership and management training for all our consultants, our 2025 core learning and development programme has included:
📋 Mental Health Awareness Week celebrations and training for all people managers and mentors.
🧩 Neurodiversity Awareness Week and tailored neurodiversity training.
🧠 Stress awareness training focused on prevention and psychological safety.
🌈 Inclusive training and policy reviews to support our EDI strategy and align with best practice.
We’ve also spotlighted Pride beyond June, reaffirming our year-round commitment to creating a safe and inclusive space for LGBTQ+ colleagues, where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work.
Our much-loved quarterly coffee mornings have continued to provide informal “time to talk” sessions, giving colleagues across our UK offices the chance to relax, catch up, and support one another. June’s picnic-themed event encouraged everyone to unwind outdoors and enjoy the benefits of nature in greenspaces around the country.
Our trial of compressed hours to improve work-life balance is going well, with feedback welcomed through our annual Health and Wellbeing Survey.
To support every aspect of wellbeing, colleagues have access to:
🩺 Free 24/7 online GP services, mental health consultations, physio, nutrition advice and more.
🌸 A dedicated Health Network area with helpful resources like YoungMinds support.
💰 Savings and discounts to boost financial wellbeing.
🤝 Bi-monthly mental health clinics and year-round support from trained Mental Health First Aiders.
With support from our IT team, we’ve highlighted accessibility features across our digital tools and updated our website with clearer information for candidates, including options to submit video applications, thereby removing barriers and making our recruitment process more inclusive.
The success of our business lies in our people. Together, we’re building a workplace where everyone feels welcome, supported, proud to be part of TEP and able to continue delivering excellent services for all our clients.
