Mark Bentley

BSc (Hons) MA LA CMLI

Career:  I have been working as a Landscape Architect since completing my MA at the University of Greenwich in 2011.  Before re-training as a Landscape Architect, I worked as an Environmental Consultant developing best practice guidance and supporting design teams on major building and infrastructure projects.  As a consultant I focussed on resource efficiency, carbon foot-printing, urban ecology and sustainable drainage.  These themes have carried through into my work as a Landscape Architect, with a focus on green infrastructure in urban and suburban spaces. Projects have included SuDS retrofit, a wetland boardwalk, multiple park and social housing regeneration schemes, historic garden restoration works and public art. My interest is in combining strong design concepts with sound detailing to create landscapes that are multi-functional, beautiful and diverse.
