TEP are Investors in People

TEP has attained Investors in People Gold!  A fantastic achievement that we are very proud of. The Investors in People (IIP) assessment changed this year, posing a significant challenge to retaining our status. However, we did it and owe it all to you, our staff. Therefore, we want to take this opportunity to say:

Thank you for trusting us and believing in our ability to lead. Thank you for your suggestions and continually helping us to improve. And thank you for all the hard work you have done and are still doing to help us achieve our mission of becoming the practice of choice!

Since our last assessment in 2017 a lot has changed. Our biggest change was extending the Board to incorporate five new members and distributing the board responsibilities. We developed a department solely focused on People, Quality and Development (PQD). Our recruitment, induction and career progression processes have all been improved. As well as our Leadership and Management training programme for managers and mentors, we have also created some new roles within TEP and appointed an Executive Assistant and a Marketing and Communications Coordinator.

What you think we did well:

    (Courses, Charterships, mentoring and PDR discussions).
TEP's Investors in People score. TEP scored 768 out of 900. The average IIP score for all organisations is 725 and the average IIP score for our industry is 723.


One final point is to say thank you to everyone who filled in the survey and took part in the interviews. Your opinions matter to us and will help shape our journey from now on. As you can see from the statistics TEP performed above average but we know we are far from perfect. This is an opportunity for us to learn and grow and here are just some of the areas we plan to focus on going forward:
