About The Role
We are seeking to recruit a Graduate GIS Consultant to join our growing Geospatial Team. This is an exciting consultancy role offering the chance to work on stimulating and challenging projects while developing your skills and expertise within a supportive multidisciplinary practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing spatial data capture and GIS workflows across a range of environmental projects.
- Analysing survey data and producing clear, high-quality cartographic outputs.
- Delivering interactive maps and spatial analyses for reports and client projects.
- Supporting large-scale geospatial projects across TEP.
- Collaborating with colleagues across disciplines to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
- Contributing to the development of our capabilities in web mapping and spatial analysis.
- Supporting innovation in areas such as statistical analysis, image classification, machine learning, and application development.
What We Are Looking For
You’ll be an inquisitive, motivated geospatial professional with:
- Degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science or relevant consultancy experience.
- Strong understanding of core GIS concepts and cartographic principles.
- Experience using the ESRI ArcGIS suite (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps).
- Experience with data management, spatial analysis and web mapping.
- Ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Experience with GIS extensions, other GIS software (e.g. QGIS) or related analytical tools.
- Interest or experience in remote sensing, image classification or machine learning.
- Strong organisation, communication skills and ability to manage changing project priorities.
- Interest in environmental topics such as ecology, hydrology, natural capital, or green and blue infrastructure.
