Masterplanning

We take a landscape-led approach to masterplanning, creating development proposals that benefit people, place and nature. We work at all scales, from sustainable urban extensions and new towns to estate regeneration and infill developments, shaping strategies that are practical, inclusive and enduring.

Working collaboratively with our in-house environmental experts, and with architects, developers, communities, and local authorities, we prepare Design Guides, Development Frameworks, Outline Planning Applications, and Placemaking Strategies.

Guided by national policy and best practice, such as the National Design Guide, Garden City principles, and Building for a Healthy Life, we embed climate resilience, multifunctional green and blue infrastructure, and low-carbon strategies at every stage. Our masterplans are deliverable, adaptable, and environmentally responsible, promoting climate-positive development and creating healthy, inclusive, and connected places where people and nature can thrive together.
