TEP helps landowners, developers, and organisations reduce their carbon footprint and increase the amount of carbon stored in soils, woodlands, and habitats. Our expertise lies in managing carbon in the outdoor environment, drawing on over 25 years of experience in landscape management, ecology, arboriculture, and soil science.

We provide technical support in measuring habitat-based carbon, and developing bespoke Carbon Management Plans. This includes conducting soil and habitat audits, mapping carbon stores across estates and open spaces, and calculating greenhouse gas emissions from peat, woodland, and wetland environments.


Our team delivers carbon literacy training for estate management teams and monitors the effectiveness of interventions through baseline and post-intervention assessments.

Working collaboratively with sustainability consultants, surveyors, planners, and land agents, we contribute to net zero strategies by designing landscapes and habitats with embodied carbon in mind. We also advise on healthy soil strategies, grounds maintenance audits and carbon reduction plans.
