About The Role
As a Senior Geospatial Consultant, you will take the lead on complex, meaningful projects that directly influence the future of land, water, and environmental planning. You will guide project delivery, shape service development, support clients, and help expand our Ecohydrology and Geospatial capabilities. Your work will span landscape-scale restoration, nature recovery strategies, hydrological modelling, SuDS opportunity mapping, water security proposals, and high value consultancy advice. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, technical challenge, autonomy, and making a tangible difference.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a pivotal role in both project delivery and service development, including:
- Leading projects from inception to completion with high-quality outputs.
- Providing technical direction, quality assurance, and oversight of complex tasks.
- Taking a lead on eco-hydrology project outputs.
- Supporting eco-hydrology and Geospatial service leads across strategic activities.
- Engaging stakeholders and liaising with clients to move projects forward.
- Preparing tenders, fee proposals, and cost estimates.
- Delivering geospatial analyses using ESRI ArcGIS Pro/Online, QGIS, Scalgo, PostGIS and more.
- Conducting eco-hydrology fieldwork, such as site investigations and peat surveys.
- Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting professional development.
What We Are Looking For
You’ll be an inquisitive, motivated geospatial professional with:
- Strong cartographic and geospatial skills, with attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, solve problems, and manage your own workload.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to coaching others.
- A proactive approach to identifying emerging issues and contributing to strategic improvements.
