Alun Evans is an Associate Ecologist with over 20 years’ experience in ecology, land use policy and environmental management across both the public and private sectors. He is an expert in habitat and peatland surveys, ecological networks, habitat restoration and management planning, and strategic nature recovery.
Before joining TEP, Alun led natural environment teams within local government, overseeing local wildlife site systems, ecological planning advice and policy development. His experience spans large-scale habitat creation and restoration projects, agri-environment schemes and strategic ecological programmes across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management.
