
Amir Bassir
Principal - Historic Environment
Amir Bassir is a Principal Historic Environment Consultant with more than 15 years’ experience in commercial archaeology and heritage consultancy. He manages archaeological and built heritage projects and prepares heritage statements and impact assessments for a wide range of developments and sites.
Before joining TEP, Amir worked as a Historic Buildings Officer, managing several high-profile and complex heritage projects. His experience includes archaeological research and recording of nationally significant halls, churches, industrial structures, military sites and agricultural buildings for both public and private sector clients. Amir is a committee member of the CIfA Building’s Archaeology Group and has contributed articles on historic buildings to county and regional publications.
