Graeme Atherton

Director

Graeme Atherton is a company Director with responsibility for TEP’s Landscape and Urban Design service, bringing creative and practical leadership to this area of the business. With more than 25 years of experience at TEP, he has been instrumental in the delivery of successful and widely recognised schemes for local authorities, government agencies, and private and third sector organisations across the UK.


Graeme has particular expertise in the design of high-profile visitor destinations and public parks, many of which have been supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. He is recognised for creating landscapes that respond sensitively to the cultural and historic context of a place, helping people to better understand, experience and connect with their surroundings. His experience also includes residential developments, town centre public realm schemes and a wide range of green infrastructure projects, including sustainable drainage and biodiversity enhancement.
