Louise Fitzgerald

Louise Fitzgerald is an Associate Landscape Planner with expertise in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment and Appraisal (LVIA/LVA), Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment (TVIA), Landscape Character Assessment, and Landscape Sensitivity Assessment. She works across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure and renewable energy, supporting clients on projects in both urban and rural contexts.

Louise frequently works on schemes within sensitive landscapes such as Conservation Areas, Green Belt, National Parks and designated landscapes, providing robust, evidence-based assessment work to support planning decisions and has acted as an expert witness at public inquiry. Alongside her project work, she contributes to academic and industry knowledge, delivering guest lectures at Manchester Metropolitan University and as a member of the GLVIA Advisory Panel.
