Louise Fitzgerald is an Associate Landscape Architect with expertise in landscape planning and assessment, including Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA), Townscape and Visual Assessment, and Landscape Character Assessment. She works across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure and renewable energy, supporting clients on projects in both urban and rural contexts.
Louise frequently works on schemes within sensitive landscapes such as Conservation Areas, Green Belt, National Parks and designated landscapes, providing robust, evidence-based assessment work to support planning decisions. Alongside her project work, she contributes to academic and industry knowledge, delivering guest lectures at Manchester Metropolitan University and publishing thought pieces in the IEMA Impact Assessment Outlook Journal.
