Tom Young

Tom Young is an Associate, and a specialist in blue and green infrastructure, with expertise in project managing multi-disiplinary environmental projects with specialisms in sustainable water management, landscape ecohydrology restoration plans and client engagement. Tom has a PhD in applied ecological science and combines academic expertise with practical design and delivery across landscape, urban design and environmental projects.

Tom has led a range of interdisciplinary landscape recovery projects, including peat and drainage investigations, and contributes to industry-leading standards and guidance. He is a Board Member of the UK Green Roof Organisation (GRO) and has been instrumental in developing national green roof standards (BS8616). His work spans landscape restoration, masterplanning, soil and substrate design, and supporting climate-resilient and performance-led landscape solutions.
