TEP was appointed by the Friends of Pools Brook Country Park, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council, to prepare a feasibility study for the development of the 74ha park, established on former coal site.
TEP assessed options for the further development of the park to maximise the leisure development and biodiversity potential of the area. The study involved extensive consultation with the Friends Group and the wider public.
Our work culminated in a masterplan and supporting business plan. The plan sets out a clear vision, objectives and actions required for the improvement of the park along with a review of resources and identification of potential funding sources.
