A new year brings with it new opportunities for TEP to support new environmental projects throughout the UK. Following its successful launch last year, this March sees TEP’s Environment Grant re-open for submissions. But that’s not all… this year TEP is partnering with The Mersey Forest to offer funding for tree planting initiatives in the Mersey Forest area, which covers Merseyside and Cheshire.
So, do you have an environmental project that needs funding to get it off the ground? Do you need resources for a community tree planting initiative? Or would you like support for environmental learning opportunities? If the answer is yes, then The Environment Grant or The Mersey Forest Grant could help.
The Environment Grant can offer funding from £250 up to £1,000, which is available to any individuals, groups, professionals, students, UK institutions or charities across the whole of the UK. To be successful, applicants will need to demonstrate a drive to make an impact on the environment, by furthering the environmental profession and/or raising awareness of environmental issues.
If you have a tree planting initiative that falls within the Mersey Forest area, the Mersey Forest Grant could fund your project by providing tree whips or more mature branched trees. There is no limit on the amount or type of trees but to be eligible for the Mersey Forest Grant, you will need permission from the land owner and be able to demonstrate your commitment to the future management of the trees.
The first window for applications will open on Monday 29th March 2021 and stays open until Wednesday 30th June 2021.
To apply, fill in the appropriate form below and email back to the CSR team before the closing date.
We look forward to supporting your projects and together, helping to make a positive impact on the future of our environment.
