We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have once again been awarded Investors in People Gold accreditation, recognising our continued commitment to creating an exceptional workplace culture and supporting our people to thrive.
Investors in People is an internationally recognised accreditation and framework for improving workplace culture, leadership and people management. Since its launch in 1991, it has helped organisations across the world to lead, support and develop their people more effectively. Today, the framework is used by organisations in over 100 countries and provides a robust benchmark for assessing workplace culture and employee experience. Achieving Gold status is a significant accomplishment and places TEP among a select group of organisations demonstrating outstanding people practices. Only around 28% of Investors in People accredited organisations achieve Gold, highlighting the strength of our culture and commitment to continuous improvement.
The assessment process includes an independent evaluation of leadership, communication, employee engagement, learning and development, organisational culture and wellbeing. Colleagues are invited to provide confidential feedback through surveys and interviews, ensuring the accreditation reflects the real experiences of people across the business. This achievement is particularly meaningful because it is based on direct feedback from our people and recognises the positive, supportive and collaborative environment we continue to build together.
Feedback from Investors in People:

TEP's mission to provide a dynamic, well-resourced and enjoyable working environment, and to ensure continuous professional improvement by all colleagues, was certainly brought to life throughout this assessment's interviews.

The level of positivity about the organisation and its working environment, including working relationships, was extremely high.

People continue to rate TEP highly. They feel that it is a great place to work because of the friendly, supportive, caring culture.
Helen Ryan, Head of People, Quality and Development, said:

Achieving this recognition is a fantastic reflection of the collaborative effort across the entire business. It demonstrates the commitment, dedication and shared values that our colleagues bring every day, highlighting the culture we've built together and making TEP a truly great place to work.

Retaining Investors in People Gold is an achievement we are incredibly proud of, but it's also a reminder that creating a great workplace is an ongoing journey. We will continue to listen, learn and invest in our people to ensure TEP remains a place where everyone can do their best work and build rewarding careers.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the assessment process and to all our colleagues who help make TEP such a supportive, inspiring and enjoyable place to work.
